Retailer Workshops
Monique Haney, the Founder of Mon + Co Agency, is your instructor, crafting the course and facilitating the workshops. Monique has 20 years of VM experience and is passionate about teaching this craft to other aspiring VMs and retail assistants. Working for major brands such as Hurley, Anaconda and Helly Hansen, Monique knows how much VM can impact sales and branding - she believes it's a skill everyone in retail should master. As part of the mentoring and management program, you will also work closely with our lead VMs to oversee your VM strategy and kick goals.
We bring our transformative touch to every retail environment, from Big Box and Department Stores to Boutiques, Duty-Free, Home & Lifestyle spaces - and everything in between. The strategies you'll learn in our retailer workshops are the same proven techniques our National Team of VM experts implement for global brands in leading retailers nationwide. We come to you; as part of the training, we conduct a retail tour on-site with Mon and VM Trainers to provide one-on-one expert help and advice. While our team will travel to you, please note that travel and venue hire are additional costs.
Base Training
Our base training program consists of two parts. Part One is a self-paced online course, offering your team complete flexibility in how quickly they progress. To ensure everyone is prepared, we ask that all team members complete the online component one week prior to the workshop.
Part Two is an interactive on-site workshop. This session includes a Q&A and a retailer tour led by Mon and our trainers, providing personalised help and advice. We typically recommend allocating at least 4-6 hours for the workshop.
Additional Training
We also have the option of Full Day Merch, which includes as many of your team members as you wish to be involved in a complete store reset with Mon and the team within a single day.
Additionally, our Mentorship Program is a three to six month time commitment. This is where we work with you to develop a three to six month VM plan that incorporates your stock drops, campaigns, and upcoming events. You can expect fortnightly check-ins and reports, ongoing feedback, and a chat group to support you and your team's day-to-day operations.
